Multiple Bus Architecture

Definition : An architecture that has devices connected together through multiple buses rather then one.

The multiple bus architecture is a design where the computers components are connected by multiple buses. This design has many more advantages than the single bus architecture in terms of efficiency and easier expansion. The components do not have to share a common bus which results in less conflicts. This also allows easier addition of new components into the computer.
